Help me!im soooo addicted to harry potter books...haha.Instead of studying very hard now...im reading harry potter.but...i lik it!=Xi promise i will start studying after i read the 7th book...which needs about 1 more week bah...so i must really apologise to my fellow friends whom will need to hear me talk about harry potterXD
Anw,we had our champions day on friday(14/09/07).Well,actually it used to be champions night every year...but this year is different...VERY DIFFERENT.For the past 3 years,i had always be one of the SLs doing duty during that event.althu many people said that it is a very boring event coz the prize recipients hav to wait all day long to take their award,i still enjoy doing duty as i can see my seniors recieve award.some of us(most of the time steph,cass n i for band n all the other sls for the sls) also will cheer loudly if any band or sl seniors go on stage and after the band performances...well,n look away when the other the people start to stare at us.n lastly,free food!haha...all this little little things really make champions night memorable for me...
this year...the happy thing is that the whole band is able to be seating in the hall on that day=)).but other den that...i thot...somethings were lacking.correct me if im wrong...this year i dun see sls doing duty...y?n i thot it was some "getai" as i can see a few rows of empty chairs at the front...actually im quite sad abt it...but im still happy to see the teachers who are present.feel really happy to see mrs wong=].she was taking photo for people frm 404....n we managed to take 1 with her at the end of everything.
1 more thing...the school cheer at the end of the evnt seems to be softer n softer as years go by...hmm...maybe we shld change our school cheer to some random talks...coz our students seem to "cheer" louder when they are talking in the hall before the assembly prog starts.n i hope every sls hav this "sl instinct"...no matter how reluctant u are,when u see ur fellow sl on stage...u will juz run up...haha...dat rly help the sls on stage to feel stronger...at least to me=D
LASTLY...band!!!jia you!!!i hope to see every single band member go for champions day 2 yrs later=DD
